2 hours of open practice which will see members of the public able to drive on the special dual layout against Highway Patrol officers in operational Highway Patrol vehicles. A tally of the head to head results will be kept with the winning “team” announced at the end of the 2 hour period.
At the conclusion of the 2 hour practice the elimination rounds commence to find the overall Beat the Blue Champion.

Beat the Blue is a unique opportunity to face off against New South Wales Police Force Highway Patrol officers in a safe and controlled environment. Only possible thanks to the people from Driving Solutions and Royal Purple Synthetic Oils, Sydney Motorsport Park will host the epic battle between the community and New South Wales finest on a specially designed motorkhana layout. With the winner of each tie being the first participant past the post.
Highway Patrol officers spend a strong portion of their driver training honing their skills on the skidpan. With the aim of the event being to pass on some of this knowledge and skill to members of the community in a fun and safe environment all while raising money for New South Wales Police Legacy.
The event with a capped number of participants will be open to all members of the community subject to some terms and conditions, spectating is free. If your not keen to put your car on the skidpan then we still have something for you. Thanks to our good friends from Yakuza Motorsports who have come on board to run our show and shine.
